Cutting - Lot Wise Summary

September 19, 2026
Production

A printable lot-wise summary of cut pieces on the cutting reports page.

New Feature

Lot Wise Summary Report

A new Lot Wise Summary tab on the Cutting Reports page lists cut pieces by lot, part, colour and size, sectioned into in-house, vendor and company-shift cutting. It filters by sales order, production order, lot and date, prints as the CUTTING - LOT WISE SUMMARY sheet and exports to CSV.

The Over-billing Debit Note Claims the Tax Too

September 19, 2026
Production

An automatic debit note for an over-billed invoice now includes the GST the vendor charged on the excess.

Improvement

Over-billing Debit Note Carries the Vendor's Tax

The automatic debit note for an over-billed purchase invoice claimed the taxable value only, leaving the GST on the excess with the vendor and the input tax credit standing on money not being paid. The note now carries the tax rate stated on the difference, or failing that on the invoice line it came from, and reverses the proportional input tax credit. An RCM invoice carries no tax on the note, as the vendor charged none.

A missing input-tax account is flagged on the Differences tab while the invoice can still be edited, rather than refusing the posting.

Editing a Task Project Keeps Its Dates

September 19, 2026
Production

The project edit dialog no longer blanks the planned dates.

Bug Fix

Project Dates Survive an Edit

Opening a project from the Projects grid for editing showed its planned and actual dates blank, and saving lost them. The dates now load into the dialog as they are stored.

Hidden Configuration Paths Are Refused

September 18, 2026
Production

Requests for hidden configuration paths are now answered "not found" at the web server.

Security Update

Requests for /.env and /.git Return Not Found

The application answered every unknown path with its own start page, including paths such as /.env and /.git/config. No real file was ever served, but an automated scanner reads a successful answer on those paths as a live site. The web server now answers them 404 Not Found on every domain, while certificate renewal paths keep working.

Lay Slips from a Marker Without Weights

September 18, 2026
Production

A lay slip or roll record against a hand-keyed marker no longer fails, and a weight nobody entered shows as blank rather than zero.

Bug Fix

Lay Slips and Roll Records Work Without Marker Weights

A marker keyed in by hand carries no lay or waste weight (those arrive with a CAD import), and creating a lay slip or recording a roll against one failed with a server error. The fabric required, expected waste, total waste and remaining roll weight are now left blank when the marker has no weight — 0.000 would read as “no fabric needed”. A marker with no garments per lay is refused by name, since the lay count cannot be worked out without it.

Supplier Types on Every Tenant

September 18, 2026
Production

Tenants that were missing the standard supplier types have them again.

Bug Fix

The Standard Supplier Types Are Restored

Some tenants had an empty Supplier Type list while the vendor master makes Supplier Type mandatory, so no vendor could be saved. The eight standard supplier types are now filled in on every tenant on upgrade. Existing types are never edited, and a type already present under another code is left as it is.

The GST Receipt Voucher Prints

September 18, 2026
Production

Print and Download on a GST receipt voucher open the PDF instead of an authorisation error.

Bug Fix

Printing a GST Receipt Voucher

Print and Download on a GST receipt voucher opened a new tab that landed on an authorisation error. The voucher is now fetched through the signed-in session, as every other printed document is, and a failure is shown on the panel instead of in a dead tab.

Cutting Note Print, Down-Sizing and Bundle Rework

September 18, 2026
Production

Cutting notes print, long sizes can be re-cut into shorter ones before bundling, and QC can send part of a bundle to rework.

Improvement

Part of a Bundle Can Go to Rework

The cutting QC inspection screen can now send some of a bundle’s pieces to rework rather than the whole bundle; the pieces sent are recorded on the bundle.

Lay Slips Are Issued to a Spreader

A lay slip now records the spreader it is issued to.

Production Global
New Feature

Cutting Note Print

A cutting note can be previewed and printed from the cutting-notes list, with its bundle table and page totals. The layout is a print form, so a tenant can have its own.

Production Global
New Feature

Down-Size: Re-cut Long Sizes into Shorter Ones

A new Down-Size screen records re-cutting pieces of a larger size into a smaller one between cutting and bundling. Pieces are conserved one for one, only downwards, and only from pieces not yet bundled. A size position table shows, per size, what was cut, what is required and what has been re-cut.

Short Permission Without a Roster, and Unpaid Permission

September 17, 2026
Production

A short permission can be taken where no shift roster is published, and an unpaid permission is deducted in payroll as a fraction of a day.

Improvement

A Default Shift When No Roster Is Published

Every short permission was refused where the company had not published a shift roster. The employee’s work schedule can now carry a default shift, used when no published roster covers the day; a published off day is still the roster’s answer. Which of the two answered is recorded on the permission and shown in the register.

Human Resources Global
New Feature

Unpaid (Loss of Pay) Permission

A permission type can now be unpaid. The hours are priced once, when the permission is recorded, as a fraction of a day against the shift’s paid hours, and payroll deducts that stored figure — so a later change to the shift does not re-price a deduction already settled.

More Than One Approved Marker per Production Order

September 17, 2026
Production

A style is cut from more than one marker, so approving a marker no longer closes the production order to the next one.

Improvement

Several Approved Markers on One Order and Colour

Only one approved marker was allowed per production order. A style is regularly cut from several — a different size set, a different lay length, a re-cut — so any number of markers may now be approved for the same order and colourway. The lay slip screen also shows more of the marker it was cut from.
